Established in 2014 as Pyxis Zone Engineering, and now operating as Pyxis Electrical Sdn. Bhd., we provide comprehensive electrical and energy solutions—from design and installation to testing, commissioning, and ongoing support.
Since our establishment in 2014, formerly known as Pyxis Zone Engineering, we have completed over 200 projects for corporate offices, retail outlets, shopping malls, and government institutions across Malaysia. From resolving hard-to-spot technical issues to designing customised electrical systems and installing lighting for complex ID layouts, our team is known for deep experience, fast execution, and proactive support.

KEY MILESTONES
Every Step Forward Our Story of Growth and Success
Rented a small office and started the business in Semenyih with only one administrative staff member.
Completed full-scale electrical works—both interior and exterior—for Malaysian glove maker YTY’s corporate office and manufacturing plant. This is our only project to date where we handled the electrical systems for the entire building.
Delivered a custom and complex electrical installation for Cloud Mile’s Southeast Asian hub office in Malaysia within 1 month, significantly shortening the typical 3-month timeline.
Relocated to a rented office in Bandar Sri Damansara, with two supervisors employed to oversee and manage projects.
Secured our largest project to date: the DHL HQ Corporate Office in Malaysia, covering 76,000 square feet. Completed the project in just 3 months — half the usual time.
Moved into our newly acquired office in Rawang, expanding the team to five supervisors to support more and larger-scale projects.
Identified and resolved an electrical interference issue at the Shopee warehouse, where third-party-installed power outlets were affected by frequency interference from a nearby fan. We conducted multiple rounds of testing to accurately diagnose and eliminate the issue, which had caused significant operational downtime.

Jack Cheang, the founder of PYXIS, began his career in the electrical engineering industry at the age of 17. Driven by determination and passion, he quickly gained hands-on experience working on large-scale projects for renowned retail brands such as Parkson and SOGO, as well as industrial clients like Riverstone and Toyo tires.
Over the years, Jack developed a deep understanding that integrity, professionalism, and efficiency are the core commitments that build long-term client trust. He has consistently upheld these principles by delivering on promises, maintaining transparent communication, and ensuring smooth project execution. Since founding PYXIS in 2014, he has embedded these values into the company culture, driving the team’s sustained growth and success.

Our Team: Structured, Skilled, and Built for Performance
Under Jack’s leadership, PYXIS has grown from a modest two-person operation into a professional team of 40. Our structure is designed for clarity, responsiveness, and scalability, led by six experienced Project Coordinators who bring both hands-on expertise and systematic project management skills. These coordinators play an active role in overseeing execution and mentoring on-site technicians, ensuring every project is delivered on time, to specification, and within budget.
Today, PYXIS completes more than 20 mid to large-scale projects annually. We believe that continuous improvement in team capability and service quality is essential to standing out in a competitive industry and delivering results our clients can rely on.
